Get Back Your Lost or Stolen Device with CrookCatcher: The Smart Anti-Theft App

CrookCatcher is a mobile application that aims to help users recover lost or stolen devices. The app is designed to work in the background and take a picture of anyone trying to unlock the device with the wrong pin, password, or pattern.

The app then sends the photo along with the device's GPS location to the user via email.

The app also has features to track device location, take multiple pictures with front and back camera, record sound clip and play alarm when wrong code is entered, customize alert message and email subject, also have ability to hide the app icon and disguising it as a files app.

It uses Device Administrator permission to monitor the screen unlock attempts. However, it does not support devices with pop-up cameras.
